Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series unveiled. Starts at $999 & $1099!




After several leaks and rumours about the new flagship from Samsung has finally unveiled the all-new Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus in New York. This is the first time Samsung is launching two smartphones in a Note series. Samsung will unveil Note 10 series in India today as well.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10/ Plus


The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic OLED display with an infinity O panel with 401 ppi. The display is capable of HDR 10 & Dynamic Tone Mapping; which is claimed to make multimedia content look brighter than previous Note devices. While the Note 10 Plus has a 6.7-inch QuadHD+ with 498 ppi and has all features of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 display. Thanks to the infinity O display for avoiding huge notch or waterdrop notches. It has the cut out for camera on the centre. Underneath, both the display packs an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner which is protected by Gorilla Glass 6. It is also UL verified to offer 98% colour and brightness uniformity. The brand has also claimed that the all-new AMOLED panels emit the least amount of blue light to reduce eye fatigue without affecting colour quality for comfortable viewing.

Galaxy Note 10 series is powered by Snapdragon 855 chipset in the US * & Exynos 9825 chipset for the rest of the world. Samsung Galaxy Note 10 comes in 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM (LTE variant) in the international market. While the 5G variant of the Galaxy Note 10 with 12GB RAM + 256GB ROM will be available in the Korean market soon. The Galaxy Note 10 Plus is coupled with 12GB of RAM and 256/512GB of storage. Both the handsets are available in 5G variants too. While the LTE variants offer dual nano sim, the 5G version only offers a single nano sim slot.


The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has a triple camera setup on the rear. It has a primary 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera with LED Flash with an f/1.5/f/2.4 aperture with support for OIS. It has a secondary 12MP Telephoto lens with 45° FoV and f/2.4 aperture with OIS. Finally, it has a 16MP ultra-wide sensor with 123° view and f/2.2 aperture. While Note 10 Plus has a quad-camera setup which has an extra VGA DepthVision (ToF) Camera. For the first time, the Galaxy Note 10 devices also feature Pro-grade video mode which brings the ‘Live Focus’ mode to videos. This will allow you to create a bokeh effect in real-time while shooting videos, something we have tested with Huawei P30 Pro. To the front, both the devices have 10MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, autofocus and an 80-degree field-of-view. Both the devices also now come integrated with a new Night Mode for selfies to allow users to capture bright pictures in unfavourable light conditions.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is backed by a 3,500 mAh battery which supports Fast Charge 2.0 quick charging technology. While the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus packs a 4300 mAh battery which supports 45W fast charging technology. The devices run on OneUi which is based on Android Pie. The devices will later be upgraded to Android Q. Both the devices doesn’t have a headphone jack and dedicated Bixby button. Samsung is also moving with the trend. Both the devices are available in Aura Glow, Aura White, and Aura Black colour options.

What’s special with New SPen?

The New SPen is more advanced than ever. It features a 6-axis motion sensor to remotely control the Galaxy Note 10 series. It is termed as Air actions, the new S Pen allows you to control various aspects of the device like different camera modes and even third-party apps like YouTube. Samsung has also released the S Pen’s Air actions SDK for developers to allow them to create new customized gestures to extend support to new applications.

Both the handsets will go up for pre-orders in the US from today itself and will start shipping from August 23.
