Redmi Note series is probably the most popular & loved series from Redmi & every year we see two phones launched under this series in the first half of the year (Feb/March) and then in the latter half of the year (Sep/Oct). This year seems to be no different, at least as of now since Redmi is all set to launch the Redmi Note 9 series in India on 12th March. Anyway, there’s still more than a week to go.
Redmi Note 9 series
Redmi posted a teaser image on Twitter which revealed that the Redmi Note 9 series will have a square-shaped camera module same as Huawei Mate 20 Pro, houses a quad rear camera setup at the back. Moreover, the image also reveals a higher refresh rate display on the Note series probably a 90Hz display.
Furthermore, Amazon & Mi.com carry an identical-looking microsite which suggests some other features of the upcoming Note 9 series includes a new design, new processor, a beast gaming experience & beast fast charging on the Redmi phones.
In a separate tweet, Manu Kumar Jain, Global VP Xiaomi posted a photo in which said it takes 9 seconds to spot 9 in the picture, well yes, if you look closely there’s a phone partially visible under the newspaper & we are pretty sure that’s one of the devices under the Redmi 9 series since all the other phones have already been launched by Redmi. At the front, it is expected to have a punch-hole display though the position of the punch-hole is still not known yet.
Redmi Note 9 series specs
A week ago, alleged specifications of the Redmi Note 9 were leaked although its still a mystery to how much of this information is true so take this with a pinch of salt so they are as follows, FullHD+ punch-hole display Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, a quad rear camera consisting of a 48MP primary lens, a secondary 8MP Lens, a third 2MP lens & lastly a 2MP lens, a 400omAh battery. The Redmi 9 Pro could be powered by Mediatek Dimensity 800 SOC, a 64MP primary camera & A 5000mAh battery.
Well anyway, there’s still more than a week to go, we’ll get to know more as the launch come closer so stay tuned.
