Redmi Note 9 launched in India. Price starts at Rs. 11,999.

Today, Redmi has finally launched the much-awaited Redmi Note 9 in India & this launch comes after almost three months of the Global launch. The Redmi Note 9 arrival in India completes the Note 9 series i.e. Note 9 Pro & Note 9 Pro Max.

Redmi Note 9: Design & Specifications.

The design language of the device is similar to 9 Pro & Pro Max with some noticeable changes like the punch-hole is in left instead of the centre, the fingerprint scanner is on the rear instead of side & the rear is made up of polycarbonate, not glass. Type-C port, Speaker grill & 3.5m audio are on the bottom.

As for the specs, Note 9 features a 6.53 inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device is the World’s first phone to be powered by MediaTek Helio G85, unlike its two older brothers which come with a Snapdragon processor. Anyway, there’s 4/6GB RAM & 64/128GB of internal storage. Runs on MIUI 11 on top of Android 10 and there’s a dedicated MicroSD card slot. The device comes in three colour options –  Arctic White, Aqua Green & Pebble Grey.

For the optics, Talking about the cameras, Redmi Note 9 has Quad rear camera setup at the back includes a 48MP Samsung ISOCELL GM1 sensor, a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lense & 2MP depth sensor and there’s a 13MP camera at the front.

The handset has a 5020mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support and the charger comes in the box. There’s 9W reverse charging support.

The 4GB/64 base variant is priced at Rs. 11,999 & the one with the same RAM but 128 Internal storage is priced at Rs. 13,499 & the highest variant with 6GB/128GB is priced at Rs. 14,999.
