As we mentioned in our previous article that MediaTek is launching a new 800 density series chipset in a couple of days & yesterday Redmi Note 10 was spotted on TENAA and now the same phone has shown up on benchmarking website. i.e Geekbench.

The Geekbench listing reveals that there are two phones Xiaomi/Redmi M2004J7AC M2004J7BC and both the phones have the same MediaTek chipset MT6875, which is essentially the MediaTek Dimensity 820, which will be announced on Monday.

Moreover, both are phones have 8GB RAM & runs on Android 10 and as far as M2004J7BC is concerned, this could be either a variant of the same phone or a completely new device & for that we’ll just to wait and see.

Anyways, As for the Geekench score, the Xiaomi/Redmi M2004J7AC manages to a score of 640 on single-core & 2425 on the multi-core score while the M2004J7BC manages to score a bit higher in the testing, 653 on the single-core & 2590 on the multi-core score.

 MEDIATEK-DIMENSITY-GEEKBENCH-SCORE

Well, the scores achieved by the MediaTek Dimensity 820 are impressive for a mid-range chipset, phones powered by offer powerful performance. Though we’ll know more about it once it gets announced and with that being said it would be safe to assume that Redmi Note 10 won’t be a slouch when it comes to performance.

Moreover, the chipset competes with the Huawei Kirin 820 & the Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G processor, both of which are based on 7nm & also have a 5G integrated modem.

Now the scores of these three chipsets aren’t much different, as in MediaTek Dimensity 820 beats the Kiri Snapdragon 768G and when it comes to single-core score Snapdragon 768G beats the other two processors.

Noticeably both the Kirin 820 & Dimensity 820 have the same Mali G57 GPU so there might be some changes when it comes to frequencies.
