Well, it looks like we finally have an answer, Yes POCO F2 could be coming soon so your excitement and let me explain. Spoiler ahead you’d be left disappointed.
Redmi K30 Pro as POCO F2 in India
A report from XDA suggests that the recently launched Redmi K30 Pro which was expected to launch in India might come as POCO F2 in India, successor to the famous POCO F1. feeling dissapointed yeah as many fans expected a completely new phone not a rebadged phone. Anyway, why am I saying this you’d ask, Well a code has been found in Miui 11 camera app which suggests that Xiaomi is already working on to bring POCO flagship in India.
Kacskrz a junior developer at XDA, while digging the Miui 11 beta camera app code he found references to the Imi an Iminin well the former is the code name for Redmi K30 Pro while “Imiin” is possibly the code for the Indian variant as “in” seems to signify this. That’s not it digging further into the Miui camera app the developer was able to find a string to a tag that read “Shot on POCO PHONE”.
These references are enough to tell that k30 Pro is indeed a POCO device presumably POCO F2 in India, well this doesn’t come as a surprise either, to be honest since Redmi K30 was launched as POCO X2 in February. Moreover, we think that the true successor to the legendary POCO F1 will have the flagship processor with 5G, full-screen display, 64MP Sony IMX686 sensor and premium build and after taking all this into consideration Redmi K30 Pro as POCO F2 makes sense.
In case you didn’t know, Redmi k30 Pro has a 6.67 inch FullHD+ AMOLED display (60Hz), Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G, 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM & 128/256GB UFS 3.0 storage.
