This series is the squeal to the Redmi K20 Pro launched last year which was one of most talked about phone due to its absolute value money for money!

Redmi K30 Pro & K30 Pro Zoom design & Specifications

Well as we mentioned above, both are phones have a similar design language so the only thing that separates both the devices is the rear panel of K30 Pro Zoom.  the front remains exactly the same so there’s a full-screen display with almost no bezels all-around and a minimal chin at the bottom. The fingerprint sensor is present under the display power button, volume rockers are on the right, 3.5mm audio jack, IR blaster up top and USB Type-C, speaker grill at the bottom. On the rear, there’s a circular camera module consisting of quad rear setup with the redmi logo at the bottom.

As for the Specifications, both the phones have a 6.67 inch Super AMOLED display, sadly there’s no high refresh-rate, (normal 60Hz panel) with FullHD+ resolution. The aspect ratio is 20:9 and max brightness upto 800nits which can go upto 1200 and supports HRD10+ so it’s good to see Redmi focusing on display quality than the high refresh rate.

The silicon that powers the phone Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G built on 7nm process, coupled with  6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM & 128/256GB while the K30 Pro Zoom has 8GB RAM & 128/256GB UFS 3.0 storage, there no MicroSD card support, runs on Miui 11 based on Android 10. Both the phones come in four colour options – Blue, White, Grey & Purple.

Now on to the shooters, this is what separates the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom from the vanilla K30 Pro since it has an additional telephoto lens instead of a macro lens and Dual OIS. As for the K30 Pro skips the Macro lens with the telephoto lens so the device has a 64MP Sony IMX 686, a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera with 123 FOV, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3X Optical Zoom, 30X Digital Zoom, OIS and finally 2MP depth sensor for portraits.
