The Redmi 9 leak saga continuous as more & more leaks come in. Earlier today, we saw the real-life images of the Redmi 9 that were leaked. Now the Redmi 9 Retail box has been leaked which reveals key details about the upcoming smartphone from the company.

The folks at GizChina got hold of an alleged Redmi 9 Retail box image which reveal the design of the phone, RAM & Storage variants, Colour options & Price.

Now coming back to the design, til now we had only seen the rear of the phone, now thanks to the Redmi 9 retail box, we now know that the device features a waterdrop notch at the front with little chin at the bottom. As for the rear, there’s Quad rear camera of which the camera housing is similar to Redmi k30 but the vertical arrangement of the sensor is similar to Redmi Note 8. The fingerprint scanner is just below the camera lens & the back has textured finish to it.

The device is will be available in three colour options – Sunset Purple, Green & Grey, though the Redmi 9 retail box doesn’t have the Grey colour on it. As far as the RAM & Storage goes, there are two variants of it – 3GB/32GB & 4GB/64GB.

Now as per the report, the Redmi 9 price will start at $139 for the 3GB/32GB base model while the top 4GB/64GB variant will be $149. The device is rumoured to launch on 25th June though the report says it can happen much sooner.

The device is expected to feature a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution & is rumoured to be powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The Quad rear camera of the device includes a 13MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 2MP macro lens & a 2MP depth sensor & there’s a 5MP front camera & 5,000mAh battery.
