Realme X3 Series launched in India: Periscope camera, 120Hz display & More!




Today, Realme has finally launched the much-awaited Realme X3 series in India, as it’s a series there’s two phones under it – the regular X3 & the X3 SuperZoom. The X3 series has already launched in Europe last month. Some of the key specs – Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+, 4200mAh, 120Hz display & Liquid Cooling.

Now, what’s the difference in these two you may ask? the difference is the periscope lens which the Realme X3 SuperZoom as the name suggests!

Anyway, both phones share the same design language which we’ve seen in majorly all the previous Realme smartphones, anyway at the front there’s a Dual punch-hole display with minimal bezels all around and a noticeable chin at the bottom, Side rear fingerprint sensor & as for the rear there’s a vertically arranged Quad rear camera setup at the top left & Realme logo at the bottom (vertically arranged).


Both the phones in Realme X3 series feature a 6.6 inch LCD with FullHD+ resolution & 120Hz refresh-rate, Corning Gorilla 5 protection. Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset & as for the RAM & Storage,  the regular X3 comes in 6GB/8GB RAM & 128GB UFS 3.0 storage while the X3 SuperZoom comes in 8GB/12GB RAM & 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 Storage.There’s also a Liquid Cooling, runs on Realme Ui based on Android 10 & comes in two colour options – Glacier Blue & Artic White.

As for the optics, the difference here is the Periscope lens which the SuperZoom as evident & front camera. So the X3 the X3 SuperZoom has a 64MP primary lens with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens with f/2.4 & a third 2X Telephoto lens with 20X Digital Zoom & a 2MP macro lens.


While all the other camera lens are same on Realme X3 SuperZoom though the ZOOM is different so the device has a 5X Periscope camera with 60X Digital Zoom.

On the front, both the phone has Dual selfie camera but the regular X3 features a 16MP primary lens with SuperZoom has 32MP primary lens & there’s a secondary ultra-wide-angle lens.

Both the phones in Realme X3 series has 4200mAh battery with 30W Dart charge support!.

 Realme X3 Series: Price & Availability.

The 6GB base variant of Realme X3 starts at Rs. 24,990 ($330) while the 8GB/128GB variant is priced at Rs. 25,999 ($344). While the Super Zoom 8GB base variant is priced at Rs. 24,999 ($370) & 8GB/256GB variant is priced at Rs. 32,999. ($436).
