Realme to unveil Realme 5 & Realme 5 Pro with Quad rear cameras in India on 20th August!

On 8th August, Realme announced their 64MP Quad rear camera tech at an event in New Delhi. Realme also showed the Demo of their 64MP quad-camera in a prototype, unlike Redmi who explained it via a presentation. Madhav Seth at the event said the brand will be launching two quad rear cameras phones before Diwali. So now it seems like that the Realme is all set to debut its Quad camera phones in the Indian market as it has started teasing about the upcoming Realme 5 series with Quad rear cameras on Flipkart.

So apparently the rumours turned out to be true that Realme would skip Realme 4 for Realme 5 series, just like how OnePlus did when it launched OnePlus 5 after the 3T. there are two smartphones launching under the Realme 5 series i.e. Realme 5, Realme 5 Pro and as per the teaser, the main highlight of the series will be the Quad rear cameras with a larger pixel size & large aperture.

Now coming to the Quad cameras, the primary sensor will be the 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor, so the 64MP primary sensor will probably debut in the Realme X series phone later this year.

As for the secondary sensor, it is an Ultra-wide angle camera with a 119-degree field of view, which opens doors to many different types of shots i.e scenery, landscapes etc.

There’s a third camera which is purely for taking Super Macro shots, which means users can take close-up shots of the subject without worrying about the loss of focus, this is the first time the company is using this sensor in its upcoming phones.

Finally, the fourth camera is the Portraits lens, well although this looks like a fancy name for the telephoto lens, so this is probably a depth sensor to take better portraits.

The Realme 5 series will be the successor to the Realme 3 series and we expect it to be better in all aspect than the Realme 3 series & since the company haven’t revealed any camera specs apart from various camera lenses or any other specs for that matter. Since Realme 3 Pro came with Snapdragon 710 so we expect Realme 5 Pro to come with Snapdragon 730 chipset.

Flipkart has teased a video showcasing the rear panel of the phone with Quad rear camera setup and the fingerprint sensor at the back as well.
