Realme is working on a smartwatch. The Realme smartwatch or whatever it may be called is the third wearable device after the Realme buds air & Realme band. Realme CEO Madhav Seth gave us a glimpse month ago in his Q/A video. Now the folks at XDA developers have leaked the renders and specifications of the Realme smartwatch.
As per the information shared by the XDA contributor deletescape, the Realme smartwatch will have a square design with rounded corners and thick bezels all around, the Realme branding can be seen on the bottom. There seems to be a single button on the right edge which could be used for multiple reasons, as for unlocking watch & navigation through it says the report. Furthermore, the watch has two charging pins at the back of the watch which appears to made up of hard plastic and Realme smartwatch will likely have a magnetic charger.
The Realme smartwatch will come in four colour options, Black, Blue, White and yellow. The watch will have five watches pre-loaded into it. Though the Realme link app users should be able to download more watch faces and sync it with the watch.
Now on the specifications, the watch will feature a 1.4 inch TFT LCD touchscreen display with 320×320 resolution. The report mentions that the smartwatch will have a 160mAh battery which should last 7 days with continuous heart rate monitoring. The watch is IP68 certified & has Bluetooth 5.0. However, there is no GPS. The sensors on the watch include accelerometer, heart rate sensor and blood oxygen sensor. The Realme smartphone will have its proprietary OS which means there’s no Android Wear.
The watch will have all the basic functions which a smartwatch has, like the heart rate monitoring, step counting, time & date, weather info, stopwatch, alarm and find my phone. Moreover, users will able to access most of these through the watch Ui where each page will have four icons.
Furthermore, the Realme smartwatch will be able to track fifteen kinds of exercises like running, walking, swimming, indoor running, outdoor running, outdoor riding yoga, aerobics capacity, strength training football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, cricket, indoor riding and elliptical exercise and also the sedentary reminders like water reminder, etc. The activity page in the UI shows weather data, sleep data, heart rate data and step counting data.
The watch will have the ability to control music from the phone (play, pause, next) all those general things and also use the watch as Bluetooth shutter button for the camera. There’s also support for the Hindi language as per the report.
