Realme will be unveiling the Realme TV & Realme Watch on 25th May in India & as you already know by now. With that being these are not the only IoT products the company will be launching. Yes, you heard that right as Realme will launch its New Truly Wireless solution (TWS) in the Indian market i.e Realme buds Air NEO.
The Realme Buds Air NEO is the company latest entry in its TWS category & the earbuds are the toned-down version of the Realme Buds Air that launched last year. There’s an already a landing page set up for the upcoming wireless earbuds that revealed its design & features.
Realme Buds Air NEO looks identical to the Realme Buds Air at the first glance but closely looking upon them does reveal some differences, for example – the silver ring found on Buds Air is no longer there on the Buds Air NEO & the dual mic aren’t visible as well so which means the earbuds doesn’t support ENC (Environment Noise Cancellation) technology. Also, there’s MicroUSB port instead of Type-C & no wireless charging either.
The wireless earbuds have a 13mm large Bass boost driver, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-channel transmission & Super Low Latency mode which the company claims a 50% lower latency rate compared to the normal mode. There’s also instant auto-connection, touch controls for answering calls, play/pause music & triggering voice assistant.
The company claims that the earbuds provide upto 3 hours of playback on a single charge & 17 hours with the charging case. Buds Air Neo will be available in three colour options – Red, White & Green. Though the Green colour has exactly the same shade as Realme band’s Green colour.
As this is the toned-down version of the Buds Air, we expect it to be priced aggressively as well.
