Realme is scheduled to host an event in China on 25th May where the company will introduce eight new products, Yes you heard that right!. Realme has teased some of the products include – TWS earbuds which could very well be the rumoured Realme Buds Neo, a Powerbank & a new smartphone.
Now Realme China CMO Xu Qi Chase revealed an upcoming product and its a smartphone though concealing the name of the smartphone but revealed that the codename of the device is “Blade Runner”.
As you can see from the image (below) Blade Runner has the same design as the other Realme smartphones though with some design change, notably the quad rear cameras aligned vertically have a different pattern around it & the glossy back makes a different pattern when light falls on it. Also, there’s no fingerprint scanner on the back or on the side so that means the Realme Blade runner has an AMOLED panel and has an in-display fingerprint scanner. Moreover, the phone also doesn’t have the 3.5mm audio jack.
Now it is speculated that this Realme Blade Runner might be the Realme X3 SuperZoom though this isn’t X3 SuperZoom, let me tell you why! As many of you know by now that the Realme X3 is coming with the 60X Zoom capabilities and that is only possible with the periscope camera lens which isn’t present on this phone.
Anyway, this device could very well be the regular X3, successor of the X2 that launched last year. Alongside the new smartphone, the company could also launch Realme TV & Realme Smartwatch. There’s still more than a week to go for the event, so I’m sure we’ll get more information about the Realme Blade Runner smartphone.
