A few days later, the company unveiled its new logo which is basically a Fluorescent Yellow instead of its typical Dark Yellow (Gold) it used to have and since it is now an independent brand and now the tagline “By Xiaomi” has been removed. The company then shared a teaser on Twitter.
Now, the General Manager of POCO India C Manmahon, in an interview with PTI said :
“We will launch our new phone. We will start online and then progress to additional channels. The last one and a half years have been a good training exercise. As a separate entity, we will be able decisions independently. There is competition, including from Xiaomi, but our focus will be on delivering premium experiences and innovation.”
Coming back to the teaser that the company shared on twitter, that read Season 2 which further confirms the existence of a smartphone and by looking at it carefully we could see the presence of POCO X2 take a look at the photo below (taken from the teaser video) and it seems that the launch could soon be happening.
As per numerous reports POCO is will launch not one, not two but atleast three devices this year probably in the midrange segment & flagship as well. Though it is unclear whether X2 will be a high-end or a midrange device, its all in rumours right now and we’d have to wait for the official announcement from the company.
