POCO will launch POCO X2 on February 4th! Looks a like Rebranded K30 4G for India!




POCO shared a teaser video its twitter handle that read Season 2, it had an easter egg which was later decoded as a teaser of POCO X2 & then the company revealed that it will launch its next smartphone in February. Well, that’s what is going to happen as POCO revealed on Twitter that they’ll launch POCO X2 on the 4th of February.

There’s already a Flipkart page, though it does not reveal much information, though there’s already some information available on POCO website about the upcoming POCO X2 that includes – a High refresh rate display, a primary 64MP camera with Sony IMX 686 sensor, a Qualcomm processor, liquid cooling & fast charging support and as per a Geekbench listing the handset will launch with Android 10. POCO has been hyping about the POCO X2 display’s refresh rate and has also set up a site where users can check whats the refresh rate of their display.

All the leaks & teasers are pointing towards POCO X2 to be a re-branded version of Redmi K30 4G that just might be true, well take a look at these it has an identical bottom area with three vents given to the loudspeaker, a USB-Type-C port, a microphone and of course the 3.5mm audio jack. Well, it is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, Android 10 out-of-box with Miui for POCO, the brand has already confirmed that it will continue to use the UI.


Well since POCO is now back as an independent brand many were hoping that POCO would launch the successor of POCO F1 i.e the POCO F2 but the company seems to have chosen a different after the separation and apart from the X2, POCO is rumoured to launch multiple devices this year. We’ll have more information once the x2 is launched next week.

It will be interesting to see how POCO would price the POCO X2 in the Indian market.
