Poco to unveil M2 Pro on July 7 in India!

A month ago, Poco announced that a new Poco phone is coming & speculation went rife about the Poco F2, which the company scrapped immediately saying that it not F2. Today, the company has finally revealed that the upcoming phone is the M2 Pro & is launching on July 7 in India.

This will be the second phone of the company after coming back, first being the Poco X2 that launched in February. there’s also microsite on Flipkart that reveals the launch date & the back panel of the upcoming device & the device will have 33W fast charging support.

Now coming back to the M2 Pro rear, there’s a Squarish camera module which houses the Quad rear cameras & by the way, if this looks familiar to you, Yes, it is similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global variant) which indicate that the M2 Pro could be the re-branded version of Redmi Note 9 ( Global).

Moreover, the model number –M2003J6CI found on the BSI & WiFi Alliance sites is similar to the Redmi Note 9 Pro (Global) which in turn will make this the third smartphone from the company which is rebranded, Ofcourse first being the X2, which was rebranded Redmi K30 & then F2 Pro rebranded Redmi K30 Pro for Global market & so now M2 Pro could follow the same path as well.

The device is rumoured to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G. This is all we got as of now. Well, the launch isn’t far away so expect some more info soon.
