OPPO Reno 2 Series will first be unveiled in India on 28th August. Quad camera specs out!

With the hype that OPPO has created with Reno series, Now they’re going to unveil the Reno 2 series on August 28th in India. Reno 2 series will first be unveiled in India and then to other markets, unlike the Reno 10X series which was first unveiled in China & later came to India. Since this is a series we expect it to have two smartphones under it possibly the Reno 20 & Reno 20X Zoom.

The flagship variant of the Reno 2 series will spot a 20x zoom lens in its quad-camera setup. Continuing its trend, both the devices will have a shark-fin pop-up front camera design. Still, it’s unclear whether the Oppo Reno 2’s 20x zoom will be Hybrid, Digital or Periscope, though we think that the brand will provide a hybrid zoom module. Higher the level of hybrid zoom needs a high level of native zoom with a great image processing capability.

Oppo Reno 2 specs Quad camera specs leaked

An image of the upcoming Oppo Reno 2 series has been leaked which reveals the design of the Reno 2 series from the front & rear and also the specifications of the Quad rear camera setup.

As per the leaked image, the OPPO Reno has a Full display design without any notch or cutouts with minimal bezels all around though this design isn’t anything new as we’ve already seen this in Oppo Reno 10x series, the image also reveals that there’ll be a pop-up mechanism for the front camera though we already know it has a Shark-fin style front camera, the only significant change as of now is at the back which has a Quad-camera setup that includes a primary 48MP Sony IMX sensor, a secondary 13MP telephoto lens with 20X Zoom, a third 8MP Ultra-wide-angle lens and lastly 2MP monochrome lens. There’s nothing know about rest of the specs of the Oppo Reno 2 series

As we know Reno 2 is a series so it’ll have two phones a regular midrange & a premium one, which we already know has Quad-rear cameras and we expect the regular Reno to have a triple rear camera as the previous Reno had two and an overall better device. Oppo Reno 10X series launched in India not so long ago and now the Reno 2 Series is launching in India first which clearly show how aggressive Oppo is with its Reno series so it’ll be interesting to see how Oppo will price it. Stay tuned for more information about the Reno 2 series.
