OPPO Find X2 & X2 Pro to launch on June 17 in India!



OPPO, three months after the launch of its Find X2 series in China, is now all set to unveil its Find X2 series in India on June 17th. Though it is still unclear if the company will also launch X2 Lite alongside the Oppo Find X2 & Find X2 Pro.

The flagship device is the successor to the Oppo Find X which was launched in 2018, which had full-screen design & was the first to implement a pop-up camera mechanism.

what’s the difference between the Find X2 series phones you may ask?. Well, there’s a bit of difference as Find X2 Pro has a slightly different rear design, also a slightly different rear camera which includes a Perioscope lens and has an IP68 rating, bigger battery.

As for the specifications, Both the phones features a 6.7 QHD OLED panel with 3168 x 1440 (3K) resolution & 120Hz refresh rate. It is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 6. Well since its a flagship series both the phones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. There’s 256GB with UFS 3.0 storage on X2 while there’s 512GB on X2 Pro. No MicroSD card support on both the phones. Runs on ColorOS 7.1 based on Android 10.


The device comes in two colour options – Black Ceramic, Ocean Glass, The black ceramic has a dual-tone finish as in like a ceramic finish on one half & Texture finish on the other half.

Oppo Find X2 has a vertical camera module on the back has a triple rear camera setup with a primary 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor & Optical Image Stabilization, a secondary 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens Sony IMX 708 sensor, a third a 13MP telephoto lens. Moreover, the ultra-wide angle lens can also be used to take macro photos. There is a 32MP with f/2.4 aperture camera on the front.


Well the X2 Pro also has the triple rear cameras setup at the back but what’s worth noting are the different sensors used. So there’s a primary 48MP Sony IMX 689 sensor with 1/14 sensor & f/1.7 aperture, a secondary 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens with Sony IMX 586 sensor & 120-degree FOV, this is the biggest sensor that has been used for an ultra-wide lens i.e which pixel bins & gives a 12MP shot.


Oppo Find X2 has a 4200mAh battery while Find X2 Pro has a 4260mAh battery & both the phones have 65W fast charging support.
