As we already know, OnePlus is soon launching the next iteration of its Flagship under its “T” version that is the OnePlus 8T. Earlier this month we got the key specifications of it & the front of the 8T through the Android 11 Developer preview
Today, we got the OnePlus 8T CAD renders that were shared by Onleaks. The renders reveal the Full design of the upcoming flagship phone & also the other specs as well, so let’s get straight into it.
OnePlus 8T CAD renders.
The OnePlus 8T CAD renders reveal that the device has a flat display, not the curved display like its predecessor. There’s a hole-punch display with the cutout on the top left, minimal bezels all around, noticeable chin at the bottom. Power button & Alert slider on the right & volume rockers on left. Type-C port & Speaker at the bottom & as usual no 3.5mm audio jack!
Well, as for the back, this is where you’d see a design change from the 8 Series. There’s a rectangular camera module on the top left which houses the Quad rear camera setup with LED flash. This boxy camera module design isn’t new, in fact, the design is pretty identical to Galaxy S20+. Anyway, the brand logo at the bottom.
Now coming to the specifications, OnePlus 8T has a 6.55inch AMOLED panel with FullHD+ resolution & 120Hz resolution. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ with 8/12GB & 128/256GB. Oxygen OS 11 based on Android 11.
For the optics, The Quad rear camera includes a 48MP, well as we know its a different sensor, a secondary 16MP ultra-wide-angle, a third 5MP & lastly a 2MP depth sensor. So there’s no telephoto lens. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie shooter.
There is a 4500mAh battery with 65W Warp charge, this is the massive upgrade over from the 8 series which supports 30W.
There is no information about the price. But as with each device, the company increases the price by a little so this will be no different so we expect it to be around 45,000 in India. As for the launch, it is rumoured to be around last of week of this month or first week of October.
