In the past few weeks, we’ve got quite a few leaks of the upcoming T variant of the OnePlus 8, i.e. OnePlus 8T 5G whether it’s leaked specifications or the Leaked CAD renders of the device. Today, the company finally revealed that it will launch the OnePlus 8T on 14th of October.

Well, the announcement also put the rumours to rest of a possible OnePlus 8T Pro, as now since it is confirmed that the “Pro” model isn’t coming. What’s coming though aside from the 8T, is the long-rumoured OnePlus Smartwatch & earphones.

For those who still unaware, the OnePlus 8T 5G has a flat display, not the curved display like its predecessor. There’s a hole-punch display with the cutout on the top left, minimal bezels all around, noticeable chin at the bottom. Power button & Alert slider on the right & volume rockers on left. Type-C port & Speaker at the bottom & as usual no 3.5mm audio jack!ONEPLUS-8T

As for the back, this is where you’d see a design change from the 8 Series. There’s a rectangular camera module on the top left which houses the Quad rear camera setup with LED flash. This boxy camera module design isn’t new, in fact, we’ve seen this design on many phones now. Anyway, the brand logo at the bottom.

OnePlus 8T 5G has a 6.55inch AMOLED panel with FullHD+ resolution & 120Hz resolution. Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ with 8/12GB & 128/256GB. Oxygen OS 11 based on Android 11.
