OnePlus 7T CAD renders leaked. Reveals same old front design with Circular triple rear camera setup.

It all started when OnePlus launched the OnePlus 3T (2016) since then every year we get to see ‘T’ series flagship from OnePlus as the company has already launched OnePlus 7 & OnePlus 7 Pro in May. Over the years we’ve seen OnePlus launching a single smartphone at a time but this year the company launched two smartphones so it makes complete sense to launch two ‘T’ series smartphones i.e. OnePlus 7T & OnePlus 7 T Pro.

OnePlus 7T leaked renders

The CAD renders of the upcoming OnePlus 7T have been leaked which reveals the overall design of the phone & triple rear camera setup.

As you can see in the leaked renders the OnePlus 7T still holds the premium glass build & to the front it has a flat-display with waterdrop notch, which also houses the front camera, there is minimal size bezels & a slight chin at the bottom. The display size is around 6.4- 6.5 same as its predecessor so the resolution of the display is most likely FullHD+ AMOLED panel. The front isn’t anything new, rather an old design carried forward from last year OnePlus 6T & 7 this year which is disappointing. Anyway, like the OnePlus 7, there’s an in-display fingerprint sensor underneath the display, the power button, alert slider is on the right & volume rockers on the left, Type-C port, single speaker on the bottom.

On the rear, this is where the biggest design change is as there’s a circular camera module which houses the triple rear cameras which is an upgrade over the OnePlus 7 which only has two cameras, we expect the third sensor to be a wide-angle lens. The design of the camera module is unusual as there are angular lines which separate the lenses from each other, the dual-LED flash is under the second lens. This is the first company is using a design like this, so let’s see how it’ll look in real life.

As for the specs, though there’s no info available about it, it is most likely to be powered by Qualcomm snapdragon 855+, 8GB RAM & 30W warp charger. Since OnePlus hike the prices with its T variant and is expected to do the same, though it did retain the lower price for the OnePlus 7 so it’ll be interesting to see how OnePlus price the OnePlus 7T. The device is rumoured to launch on 26th September in India, the device will launch in India first.
