HMD Global’s Nokia just unveiled their latest smartphone the Nokia X71 in Taiwan and it is already gearing up to launch yet another device, the Nokia 8.1 Plus with the model of number – TA-1188 was spotted on TENAA with images although now the images have been removed adding to this the user manual of the device was also spotted on Nokia’s official website but now it has been removed as well.
As you can see from the images above Nokia 8.1 Plus has a punch-hole display which housing the front camera and the handset will be the second device to have to an in-display fingerprint scanner after the Nokia 9 Pureview. The device carries the glass sandwich form factor with triple rear cameras at the back which resembles the Nokia X71, followed by the flash and the vertical Nokia branding.
The handset has a punch-hole display as we said before, although the specification of the smartphone is still not known. The primary lens could be equipped with the same 48MP ZEISS camera like the Nokia X71 and the user manual of the device confirms the presence of 3.5mm audio jack, Type-C port and a hybrid SIM card slot.
