LG will soon launch a budget friendly W series for the Indian market!

There have been reports that LG could soon launch an affordable smartphone in the Indian market, it seems LG is following the same direction as Samsung to strengthen its presence in the Indian market against Xiaomi, Honor, Realme. Much like how Samsung did with its M series.

Today, a teaser listed on Amazon just confirmed that LG is indeed working on an Indian specific W series, the teaser listed has an upcoming LG smartphone which seems to be very different from the past LG budget phone offerings.

The teaser confirms that the upcoming smartphone has a triple rear camera at the back, i.e. Normal lens, Wide-angle lens & a depth sensor, other camera feature include – Night mode, Bokeh mode, Wide-angle shot etc. LG promises great camera performance with the smartphone if product page images are to be believed.

LG also teased about the different types of notches, i.e. the water drop notch, U shaped notch and one with no notch, this could mean there is more than one phone launching in the series or maybe the notches are just customizable although this is not something new.

LG mentions on the page that the upcoming smartphone/series will have a “Pocket worthy price tag & “Never before prices”.

Well through W series LG is trying to revive its presence in the Indian market just like what M series did for Samsung. There are not many details available about the phone, so we have to wait for the leaks or teaser to find out more, so till then stay tuned.
