LG W10 & W30 unveiled in India, takes on Samsung Galaxy M series!

LG  has finally unveiled its budget-friendly W series India, which it has been teasing from the past few weeks, LG has launched three smartphones under its W series – LG W10, W30/Pro.W series will compete with the likes of Xiaomi, Realme & Samsung M series.

LG W10

LG W10 is the most affordable of the W series trio, in terms of design -W10 has a notched display, much like the iPhone & a huge chin as well, it has a plastic back, there’s a dual rear camera on the back, next to it is the fingerprint scanner, power button is present on the right while the volume rockers are present on the left, USB port, headphone is present on the bottom.

As for the specs, the LG W10 has a 6.19 inch HD+ display, 18.9:9 aspect ratio with a notch, powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM & 32GB internal storage which can be expanded via a MicroSD Card. W10 has a wider notch compared to W30 n W30 Pro, runs on Android 9 Pie (Stock Android).

For photography, the device has a dual rear camera setup at the back, a primary 13MP sensor coupled with a 5MP depth sensor and a LED Flash, an 8MP front camera with a LED Flash housed in the notch. Other features include-face unlock, bokeh mode, beauty mode.

It has a 4000mAh battery like W30 duo, W10 comes in three different colour options – Tulip Purple, Smokey Grey.

As for the design, W30 has a water drop notch on the front, huge chin at the bottom, has a glossy back, which looks like glass, however it is just plastic, a vertical triple rear cameras at the back, of which one lens has a red ring around it, fingerprint scanner is present as well, as mentioned W30 has a smaller notch.

LG W30 has a little larger 6.26 inch IPS LCD HD+ display with waterdrop notch, 19:9 aspect ratio, with 86% screen-to-body ratio, users have the option to hide the notch as well, although for performance it shares the same MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor as W10. It has a 3GB RAM & 32GB internal storage, it has a Hybrid SIM slot instead of a dedicated MicroSD, runs on Android 9 Pie.

Coming to the cameras – W30 has a vertically placed triple rear cameras, a primary 12MP Sony IMX 486 sensor, a secondary 13MP ultra-wide sensor with 100-degree field of view and finally a third 2MP depth sensor. It has a 16MP front camera placed inside the water drop notch.

it also has the 4000mAh battery as its other counterparts and there’s no support for fast charging, W30 comes in three colour options – Aurora Green, Platinum Grey, Thunder Blue.

LG W30 Pro

LG W30 Pro is Coming Soon, which will be a premium device of this budget series, W 30 Pro has a V-shaped notch display, everything else is similar to the W30 in terms of design the glossy back, triple rear cameras etc.

Under the hood, it has a 6.22-inch V-shaped notch display, HD+ resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, the biggest difference between the W30 & W30 Pro is of the processor, as the W30 Pro is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box, it has the same 4000mAh battery.

For the cameras, it has the same triple rear camera setup at the back with a primary 12MP Sony IMX 486 sensor, a secondary 13MP ultra-wide sensor with 100-degree field of view and finally a third 2MP depth sensor. it has a 16MP front camera inside V-shaped notch.

Pricing & Availability

The LG W10 with the 3GB RAM & 32GB storage is priced at RS. 8,999, it will be available on Amazon India from 3rd July. The W30 with 3GB RAM & 32GB internal storage is priced at RS. 9,999, it will also be available on Amazon India from the 3rd July.
