Google Pixel 4a, the midrange device from Google was slated to launch at this year’s Google I/0 that we know is already cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic. We know almost everything about the device thanks to the CAD renders & the specifications that leaked two months ago. Now the device has appeared on Geekbench revealing more information about the upcoming handset.
The Geekbench listing reveals the name of the handset as Google Sunfish, which is the codename for Pixel 4A Furthermore, the listing shows that the device has 6GB RAM & will run android 10 out-of-box. Though the listing doesn’t mention the name of the Qualcomm chipset and if previous leaks are anything to go by it is Qualcomm Snapdragon 730.
Now coming to the benchmark score, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 has a single-core score of 2529 & multi-core of 63,66. Well, one thing to note here is that these scores are on v4 of Geebench & v5 score would be less than this as it takes a lot more things into consideration.
For those who are still not aware, the Pixel 4a has a 5.81-inch FulHD+ display, 60Hz refresh rate, powered by Snapdragon 730 and is coupled with 6GB & 64GB internal storage. There’s a single 12MP rear camera and an 8MP camera at the front, a 3080mAh battery.
Some reports suggest that the Pixel 4a will go on sale from 22nd May.
