last year, they were rumours floating around that Google is working on to launch two mid-range Pixel devices soon after that the leaks started to pour in of those alleged midrange devices, i.e., The Google Pixel 3a & Google Pixel 3a XL are now set to launch at this year’s Google I/O conference on May 7th. Google will launch these devices in India the next day that is 8th May, confirmed via the teaser on the Indian e-commerce website Flipkart.
The teaser on the Flipkart shows a shadow of the phone with the tagline that read – “Help is on the way. Something New is coming to Pixel universe on 8th May”. This is the same tagline Google used a few weeks ago to tease these smartphones on its store.
There’s not much information about these midrange devices from Google, other than their official names, Google Pixel 3a & Pixel 3a XL. Although the latest leaks suggest that a similar design like their big brothers i.e., Pixel 3 & Pixel 3 XL. The Pixel 3a is rumoured to have a 5.6 inch 1080p GOLED display, alongside Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 coupled with 4GB RAM with 32/64GB internal storage and a single 12.2MP rear camera.
As for the bigger pixel, The Pixel 3a XL has a 6.0-inch FullHD+ GOLED display, powering it is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor coupled with same 4GB RAM & 32 /64GB internal storage and shares the exact same 12.2MP rear cameras as the flagship pixel lineup. One thing is to note here is that both the devices have a 3.5mm headphone jack, unlike the premium pixels.
