Black Shark has already announced that they’ll be launching ‘Pro’ version of the Black Shark 2 on 30th July in China. The Black Shark 2 Pro. Now an unknown Black Shark device has appeared on Geekbench, most likely the upcoming Black Shark 2 Pro, GeekBench listing revealed some key specifications about the device.
Black Shark 2 Pro (DLT-A0)
As per the listing, the device has a model number (DLT-A0), the device will be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC and the Snapdragon 855+ processor code-named “msmnile”(motherboard name). Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus contains 4 Kryo 485 Silver low-power CPU cores with 1.8 GHz top speeds and 3 Kryo 485 Gold low-power CPU cores with 2.42 GHz top speeds. Both the chipset is coupled with Adreno 640 GPU but there’s a difference between the clock speed, 855 SoC is clocked at 585 MHz, compared to 672 MHz for the Snapdragon 855 Plus, which means the SD 855 Plus is an overclocked version of SD 885, promises 4.2% improvement in CPU & a 15% in GPU.
Apparently, the listing also confirms that it will be coupled with a massive 12 gigs of RAM. The phone will run on Android Pie out of the box, which will later be upgraded to Android Q. In the GeekBench listing, the phone scored 3632 points in the single-core and 11304 points in the multi-core test. This is the 2nd smartphone after Asus ROG Phone 2 which is also powered by Snapdragon 855+ platform, which is launching in China on July 23rd. Also, Nubia is also in the works of their new gaming phone addition to the Red Magic 3 refresh, which also be powered by Snapdragon 855+ platform which will be launched later this year.
The Black Shark which recently debuted in India with Black Shark 2 was priced at RS. 39,999 for the 6/128GB & RS 49,999 for the 8/256GB.
